If one is in Indian Market looking for a hatchback with a budget of around 5-6 lakh rupees then its comes as no surprise to find the Maruti Suzuki Swift at the top of one's list.
There have been many factors that resulted in Swift's massive success in the Indian Automobile Industry over the years. Its been more than a decade since the car was debuted in India but even today the Suzuki's Swift ranks among the top 5 most selling cars in the country.
In this long journey of success the car has seen alot of modifications and ulterations to keep pace with the ever increasing demand of Indian Customers for looks, style and comfort.
The current generation of Swift has a lot more resemblance to its earlier version and is lagging behind its rivals in the department of looks, comfort and features.
Well the Suzuki was quick to act on this and launched the refreshing and mesmerizing model of the swift in Japan in 2016. Since then the car has been the talk of the town among many Indian autolovers eagerly waiting for its Indian launch.

EXTERIOR
The looks of the car might be fully retained with the floating roof line (seen on the Suzuki Vitara Brezza) and larger alloys with Led daytime running lights.
The side profile of the car looks more identical to its previous version except the rear door handle which is mounted on the C pillar also the ground cleareance might be at 170 mm which is seen on current swift models in india.The blacked out C pillar gives a floating roof effect to the car.
The rear is beautifully designed with compact Tailamps and sporty bumpers.
EXPECTED INTERIOR FEATURES
The Indian version of Swift may include a long list of features like Climate Control Cruize Control, Touchscreen Audio System,Apple Car Play/Android, Auto Circular AC Vents, Flat bottom Steering Wheel.
Safety features may inculde Dual Airbags and ABS with EBD as standard across all variants.
EXPECTED ENGINE
The New Swift will be seen with the same engine lineup( which currently powers the Swift and Dzire models). The 1.2 Petrol and 1.3 DDis 190 deisel Engine. However Suzuki is looking to offer a booster jet engine for the new swift (currently Suzuki offers Baleno with Boosterjet engine) which will increase its drving performance substantially making it a gem for auto enthusiasts.
As Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Suzuki Dzire in April this year one can certainly expect the launch of Swift in the Festival Season.

maruti suzuki dzire vxi is the car which has a lot of exciting features like central locking, awesome AC, perfect audio system, etc And that too in a medium budget.
